This policy explains what we do with your information when you read this site, subscribe to it, or buy a book.

Who is responsible

What we collect, and why

When you buy a book — your name, email address and billing country. We need the email to send your download; we need the country because tax depends on it. Our payment providers handle your card or account details; those never reach our servers.

When you subscribe to new posts — your email address, and nothing else.

When you leave a comment — the name and email you type, and your IP address, which WordPress records to help catch spam.

When you simply read — our host keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.

Who else sees it

Only the companies that make the site work:

  • Hostrina — hosts the site and its database, and sends the automated emails this site produces, including your download links
  • IntaSend — processes M-PESA and card payments
  • PayPal — processes PayPal payments

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for [7] years, because tax law requires it. Subscriber emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Comments stay until you ask us to remove them.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any message. If you are in the EU or UK and think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority — in Hungary, the NAIH.
